Karen Bogart is an active pianist and collaborator in Southern California. She is a proponent for modern music and is an avid performer of new repertoire.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Ms. Bogart believes in the transformational power of music education. She specializes in working with young students to use music as a means for to cultivate grit, problem solving, individuality, and self-esteem. Ms. Bogart works closely with both neurotypical and neurodivergent students, specializing in students with autism and ADHD. Her students have won awards in the Southwestern Youth Music Festival, Satori, and Southern California Junior Bach Festival. Her students have gone on to study music at the collegiate level and start their own professional careers.

She serves as Director of Programs for Salit Conservatory of Music in Burbank, CA and is on the University of Redlands Piano Camp board of directors where she has developed and heads their popular Performance Academy track; a popular class designed to stimulate and motivate advanced players. She is the current Scholarship Director for the Moments of Music Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to excellence in music and the cultivation of young talent. She sits on the board of directors for the Music Teacher Association of California, Redlands Branch, serving as 2nd Vice President.

Ms. Bogart holds an Artist Diploma, M.M., and B.M. in Keyboard Performance from the University of Redlands.
